Customer policy

Booking, cancellation & refund policy

A plain-language overview of URAN’s intended customer protections when flight booking launches.

Pre-launch version · 8 September 2026
Not yet in effect for purchases: URAN does not currently accept bookings. Before launch, this policy will be reviewed against the final operating entity, markets, provider agreements and applicable consumer law. Exact conditions will be shown before each future purchase.

1. Scope and supplier rules

This policy describes URAN’s intended approach to flight bookings. Every itinerary may also be governed by the airline’s or travel provider’s fare conditions, including change, cancellation, no-show and refund restrictions. The exact conditions shown during checkout for a booking will form part of that transaction.

2. Price and currency

Before confirmation, travellers will see the total amount payable, the actual payment currency and any applicable conditions. Any charges required for a transaction will be disclosed at checkout in accordance with applicable law.

3. Payment and ticket issuance

A successful payment authorisation or charge does not by itself mean a ticket has been issued. URAN will treat a booking as ticketed only after the authoritative travel provider confirms issuance.

If the requested ticket cannot be issued after payment is collected, URAN will arrange the appropriate return of the collected amount, subject to reconciliation and the original payment method’s processing time.

4. Cancellations and changes

Cancellation requested by the traveller

The airline or provider’s fare rules determine whether the ticket is refundable and the authoritative amount available. Any applicable deductions or non-refundable charges will be handled according to the conditions disclosed before purchase and applicable law.

Cancellation or significant disruption by the airline/provider

Refund and alternative-travel rights depend on the provider’s policy and applicable law. URAN will apply those requirements and the terms disclosed for the booking.

Partially used travel, no-shows and changes

Partially used itineraries, missed flights, voluntary changes and related charges are governed by the applicable fare and provider rules. Any additional charges will be disclosed where applicable.

5. Refund process and timing

  • Refund eligibility and the provider-refundable amount must first be confirmed through the authoritative provider.
  • Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method unless another lawful method is required.
  • Airline, payment-network and bank processing can affect timing after approval.
  • Currency conversion or bank charges outside URAN’s control may cause the final credited amount to differ from the original display-currency amount.
  • URAN will communicate the known status and material deductions rather than represent an uncertain amount as final.

6. Disputes and legal rights

Please contact URAN promptly if a future transaction appears incorrect so it can be investigated. Nothing in this policy limits chargeback, cancellation, refund or other rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Contact

For policy questions, email . Because the service is pre-launch, URAN cannot currently process booking or refund requests.
